2017 Chinese New Year Dinner – The Year of the Rooster

2017 is the year of the Rooster, starting from January 28th, and ending on February 15th, 2018. TTCCI hosted the Chinese New Year Dinner on 29 January 2017 Sunday in the Capitol Regent Chinese Restaurant at Cannon Park, Townsville.

The Rooster is tenth in the Chinese zodiac. Each year is related to an animal sign according to a 12-year cycle. Years of the Rooster include 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017, and 2029. It is theorized that a person’s characteristics are decided by their birth year’s zodiac sign and element. So there are five types of Roosters, each with different characteristics. Which one are you?
