The Townsville Chinese Club, Townsville Chamber of Commerce and Townsville City Council hosted morning celebrations for Chinese New Year on 9 February 2017 Thursday at the Townsville Bulletin Square in the city. The free-entry event and wonderful lion dancing attracted a big crowd to the CBD to celebrate the Year of Rooster.
